Even people who like the idea of "mindful walking" sometimes wonder if it really is possible to call it a "workout". A stress-reliever, sure. A time to connect with our souls, perhaps. But a workout??
YES! And it's one of my favorite things about this versatile practice.
In fact, as I explain in today's video, there's evidence that practicing mindfulness regularly can actually help you get more out of your fitness routine.
The bottom line is that 'mindful walking' in not about how fast your body is moving while you're walking. It's about how fast your MIND is moving.
